Throughout the year Girls Inc plans and organizes many events; some are
designed to involve Girls Inc girls in social or educational activities that
will assist in our mission - to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and
bold, some are developed to involve girls and their families in fun and bonding
experiences, some are planned to engage our friends, supporters and sponsors in
fund raising activities.
CRAFTS
IN THE PARK
There’s something for everyone Country in the Park, including “Crafts in the
Park” Girls Inc is proud to part of this annual free event that draws
approximately 20,000 visitors to the city of Pinellas Park!
Enjoy the Friday night’s Chili Blaze contest and on
Saturday, all day music, great variety of food and midway for the kids.

50th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
On Friday May 4, 2011 we will be celebrating our 50th anniversary with a lunch at Feather Sound Country Club.
At the event, we will be honoring Dr Anika Tanaka, visionary leader and co-founder of the Tampa Bay Research Institute, as our first annual Outstanding Woman in Science honoree. LEARN MORE

5K WALK-A-THON
HELP US AND WE’LL HELP YOU!
When you raise $100+ in sponsorships that qualifies you as a VIP! Girls Inc
will pay your registration fee for the Publix Gasparilla 5K Walk-a-Thon. Make
it even more fun and enlist friends to walk with you and recruit their own
sponsors. When they raise $100+, they become a VIP too!
